“Disruption” seems to be the current descriptor for the stirring in so many areas of the world, and its consequences can appear overwhelming.

Is there a reliable way to counter this negative narrative? Yes! There are numerous examples in the Bible, opportunities all around us — in our branch churches and communities — for simple acts of kindness, compassion, and practical care that can bring hope, help, and healing to our friends and neighbors. This support and aid for one another are part of the divine plan.

Come explore the promise, demand, and opportunity of this divine law with us. What’s going on in our communities and in the world is happening on our watch. “Behold, today hath need of thee” (Christian Science Hymnal No. 6).

Our facilitators will be the husband-and-wife team of John Cochran, C.S. and Tina Bilhorn, a Christian Science nurse.

John and Tina are active members of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Princeton, New Jersey and helped to launch “Communities of Christian Caring,” an international initiative that fosters loving care and support with healing among Christian Scientists and their communities.
